"the Singer"
Friday//6-19-09

We had our quizzes during this day[6-19-09] in MAPEH and Mathematics. Thank God, Ma'am Dela Cruz [Filipino teacher] did'nt give us a quiz. Instead of giving us a quiz, she let us do something like writing a Journal. And Oh yeah, a reminder to every filipinos over there, the spelling of Journal in tagalog is still Journal. Not Dyurnal [Reject!]. Right Ma'am?

OH, MAPEH! Yes MAPEH! I almost forgot. Our Quiz in MAPEH is super funny, especially in Test 3 [the Essay Part]. HAHAHAHA! Test 3- number 2, give one similarity and one difference of these pictures. The 1st 2 pictures were the Manungal Jar and the Chinese Jar. The last 2 pictures were the Filipino Vintas and the Asian Vintas. The funny part was during checking. "Okey. What's the similarity and the difference of these 2 Vintas, Ma'am Nancy asked.[Our MAPEH teacher]" [Abegail was the one who checked my quiz notebook] Abegail read my answer and it says "the similarity: the Filipino Vintas and the Asian Vintas have the same... VINTAS!" What an answer! HAHAHAHA! My classmates started to LOL [Laughing Out Loud] and also me. I keep laughing at my mistake. haha.

In Mathematics, our quiz was finding the solution set which is worth 5 points. Well, it's kinda hard for me. Coz I'm not good in Math but I am trying my best to Love this subject. hehe. So there. After that [Math is our last subject] we went home. OH, before we went home. One of our former classmates [Mark and Riza--St. Dominic] went to our School. I was so happy when I saw them. I kept thinking about them, thinking about the old times. :)

"SEE YOU on Monday School!"

Friday night;

My classmate Jenny and I went to the Church. [MCF] We attended the Youth Fellowship that night. It was so fun!
Pastor Gunder let us introduce ourselves. At Lang-Lang started introducing herself then so on and so forth. Until it reaches my turn, "Good evening to each and everyone my name is Shanley Shan Dulangon and my favorite colors are.. Can you guess it?" Pink! According to Kuya Jothan. "You're right kuya!, another one?" Red! Black! White! Blue! Green! they keep on guessing. "Okey, my favorite colors are Pink, Red, Green, and Purple Mountain's Majesty :>"
"Sample!", yelled Ate Diane, Ate Ranya and Kuya Chris. "Huh? Sample? Unsa man ako i sing oie? :D"
And it started like this..
"I'm nothing special in fact,
I'm a bot of abored.
But I have a talent, a wonderful thing
Coz everyone listens when I start to sing..
I'm so greatful and proud.
All I want is to sing it out loud.
So I say,
Thank you for the music
the songs I'm singin'
Thanks for all the Joy they're bringin'.
Who can live without it?
I ask in all honesty,
What would life be..
Without a song or dance,
what are we?
So I say, Thank you for the music
for giving it to me. "
[bow]
Then everyone clapped their hands. Kuya Chris kept on saying, "Shanley, "the singer" then I smiled.
After the Youth Fellowship, the youth were having a meeting about the role play. Then, finaly we went home.
Kuya Charles sent Jenny and I to our homes.
"Thank You kuya Charles. Bye ate Marie Sol. Bye Jen! God Bless You!"
